- Data We Collect and How We Use It
To provide the core functionality of connecting lost and found items, we strictly collect only the absolute minimum data required:
- Location Data: We collect the location coordinates ONLY when you manually drop a pin to report an item. We do not track your background location.
- User Identifiers: We use "Sign in with Apple" which provides us with an anonymous, secure identifier. We do not collect your real name, email, or phone number.
- Device Tokens: We collect your device's push notification token strictly to alert you when a match is found.
- User-Generated Content: Any descriptions or photos you voluntarily upload regarding a lost or found item are stored securely to facilitate matching.
- Data Sharing and Third Parties
We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third parties or advertisers. Your data is only processed on our secure servers to
match lost and found items.
- Data Retention and Deletion
You have full control over your data. You can completely delete your account, items, and associated identifiers at any time directly within the App by navigating to the
"Me" page and tapping "Delete Account".
